Instalite illuminates the time in the darkest of places.

Your need to know what time it is does not only occur in the day. If you are under the night sky or in a poorly lit environment, you must find a light source to be able to read your watch. Armitron has solved this problem. The watchmaker has developed several watch models with electroluminescent displays that you can activate with the push of a button. Once this button is pushed, the face of the watch illuminates for two to three seconds, depending on the watch model. Does this Spark an idea?

Instructions

      Push the "D" button if you have either an M505 or M591 model Armitron watch. It is the button located on the bottom right side of the watch face.

      Push the "A" button if you have an M296-M298 model Armitron watch. It is the button located on the bottom left side of the watch face.

      Push the "D" button if you have a 20/1277-79-81 model Armitron watch. It is the bottom-most button located on the watch's right side.

Tips & Warnings

  • M505 Armitron watch models also have an "El" button that you can push to activate the Instalite feature. This button is clearly marked at the bottom of the watch's center.
