How to Clean Chrome Faucets

Things You'll Need

• 2 or 3 soft cloths
• White vinegar
• Salt
• Soft-bristled toothbrush

Instructions

1. Dampen a soft cloth with white vinegar and wring out any excess.

2. Wipe the chrome faucet thoroughly with the cloth to remove water spots or stains.

3. Dry the chrome faucet with a clean, dry cloth. Inspect the chrome for mineral buildup.

4. Combine 2 teaspoons of salt and 1 teaspoon of white vinegar in a bowl. Use a spoon to stir the mixture.

5. Apply the salt and vinegar mixture to the faucet with a cloth or soft-bristled toothbrush. Scrub the mineral buildup with the cloth or toothbrush to loosen and remove it.

6. Dampen a clean cloth with water and wring it out. Wipe the faucet with the cloth to remove any residue.

7. Dry the faucet with a clean, soft cloth.
