You lather up with your favorite scented body wash, only to find that its fragrance fades as soon as you hop out of the shower. This is frustrating, but you can remedy the situation by adding a couple of products to your post-bathing repertoire.

Flyaway Fragrance

The scent of your body wash fades quickly because it doesn't have a chance to stick around; you rinse it off almost as soon as you use it. Give the scent a fighting chance by applying lotion -- preferably with the same scent as your body wash or unscented -- to your skin immediately after towel-drying.

Fragrant Forever

Finish up the fragrance layering with a body spray or perfume in a matching scent to your body wash. The moisturizer you applied after bathing -- even the unscented kind -- helps this fragrance layer cling to your skin. Apply it to the base of your throat, your inner wrists, the crooks of your arms, behind your knees and behind your ears. These are your pulse points, where blood vessels run closest to the skin. For extra staying power, apply petroleum jelly to your pulse points and follow with the perfume or body spray; the thick jelly clings to your fragrance even better than the lotion alone.
