Instructions

    • 1

Measure and mark out a 4-inch square on decorative paper with a pencil and ruler. Cut out the square with a pair of scissors.

    • 2

Use a compass set to draw a circle with a 4-inch radius to draw a curved line connecting opposing corners on the square. Set the point of the compass at the bottom left corner of the square. Draw your curved line from the bottom right corner to the upper left corner. Trim the square along the curved line.

    • 3

Use spray adhesive to attach a paper doily to the decorative side of the paper lining up the curve of the doily with the curve of the paper. Trim the excess doily to fit the straight edges of the paper.

    • 4

Bring the two straight edges of the paper together. Use a strip of double-sided tape to adhere them to each other.

    • 5

Pour a container of glitter out onto a paper plate. Draw a line of craft glue along the open edge of the paper cone. Dip the glue-lined edge into the plate of glitter. Flick the cone a couple times with your fingers to shake away any loose glitter and allow the glue to dry for an hour.

    • 6

Punch holes with a 1/4-inch paper punch 1/2 inch down from the open edge of the cone on opposite sides. Tie one end of a 10-inch length of 1/4-inch wide ribbon through each hole to create a loop for hanging the ornament.
