How to Start an Amana Oven
Amana manufactures many different models of ranges, which combine a stove and an oven. Prior to placing food inside of your Amana oven to cook, you must preheat the oven to allow it to reach the desired cooking temperature. Does this Spark an idea?

Choose your cooking method. Press the "Bake" or "Broil" button, located on the range's keypad.

Press the TEMP/HOUR "More" and "Less" buttons to choose the oven temperature, which will be displayed on the screen.

Press the "Start" button to begin preheating the oven.

Press the "Self Clean" button. Press the "More" or "Less" buttons to choose between the "Low" and "High" self-cleaning cycles. Press the "Start" button to begin the self-cleaning cycle.

Tips & Warnings
To start the warming function, press WARM and the "Start" button. The temperature is preset at 170 F.
