Bodybugg Instructions

Bodybugg Instructions thumbnail
The bodybugg measures calories burned throughout the day.

If you have watched the television show "The Biggest Loser," you have probably seen the Bodybugg. The show's contestants wear the device as they strive to meet their weight-loss goals. Even if you're not on television, you can wear a Bodybugg to help you achieve your desired weight. The Bodybugg can keep track of how many calories you burn each day. To actually lose weight, though, you need to do more than just wear this fitness mechanism; you need to follow the Bodybugg program.

Place the Bodybugg armband on your upper left arm. Position the Bodybugg device on your triceps. Make sure the device's sensors are touching your skin. Wear the Bodybugg throughout the day. Wear it while you are exercising, working and sleeping. Do not wear the device when you are showering or swimming.

    • 4

Expect to receive a call from a Bodybugg coach. Set up a free coaching session with her. Make sure you set aside about 30 minutes for the session. Wear the Bodybugg and let it collect data for at least a week before your coaching session.

    • 5

Log the food you eat each day. Write down the types and amounts of food you consume. Enter this information into your online program each night. Be as accurate as possible when entering the food.

    • 6

Attach the Bodybugg to your computer via your USB cord. Upload the data the device has collected each day. Review the number of calories you have burned and consumed. See if you are on track to meet your weight-loss goal.

    • 7

Write down any questions or concerns that you have about your Bodybugg in advance of your coaching session. Talk to your coach about these questions. Let the coach take you through the online program so that you better understand it. Talk to the coach about any nutrition or exercise advice.
