How to Access MDW Password Recovery

MDWRecovery is a software that E-Tech Recovery developed to restore both user and admin passwords from MDW and MDA files. The MDW and MDA files are Microsoft Access Workgroup files that databases rely on for maximum security. The software can also recover usernames and passwords from SDW security files that Simply Accounting rely on. It can do any of these operations even without administrator privileges once you install and access the software.

Instructions

1. Download the Microsoft Data Access Components (MDAC) 2.8 package because MDWRecovery cannot function without it. Double-click the "MDAC_TYP.EXE" file that you downloaded to install the package.

2. Click the Start menu and go to "All Programs" followed by "MDWRecovery." Click MDWRecovery 3.0 to launch the application. Click the "Recover" button to initialize the recovery operation.

3. Locate the MDW file that contains the passwords that you want to recover. Double click the MDW to proceed with the recovery process.

Tips & Warnings

• E-Tech Recovery recommends that you make a backup copy of the MDW file before recovering.
