How to Get Into a Sentry Safe

Purchasing a Sentry Safe is a wise investment, especially if you have many valuables that you'd like to protect. For extra security, some Sentry Safe models need both a key and a combination to open the safe. However, Sentry Safes are not that difficult to use. You just need to grasp a few basic ideas before you start locking up your most prized possessions.

Instructions

1. Insert the safe key, if your model uses a key together with a combination. You can find this key next to the combination input. Turn the key to the right. It will stop. Pull the key out towards you. The key lock shaft should slip out a bit and stop.

2. Input the combination code on the keypad. Input this code quickly, as taking too long will cause it to reset. If you have a combination dial, input this as you would any dial combination. Check your Sentry Safe manual for the code or combination for your safe.

3. Pull down on the safe handle, once the lock disengages, and pull the door open. Retrieve the documents or items inside the Sentry Safe.
