Instructions

    • 1

Lay your eyeglass frames down on a level surface.

    • 2

Close the frames by turning the arms inward and lay the frame so that the lenses face upward, or lay the frames upside down on the table with the arms open.

    • 3

Use a metric ruler to measure from one end of the frame to the other. This is where the arms connect to the frame, from hinge to hinge. Measure this in millimeters. This is the width of your eyeglass frames.

    • 4

Measure the width of one lens. In millimeters, measure it from one side to the other. This is your lens width.

Tips & Warnings

  • There are other measurements already on the inside left arm. The first number is the width of your lens, the second number being the width between the lenses (bridge width), and the third number is the arm length from the tip of the arm to the temple of the frame.
