How to Send Cute SMS
If you're dating someone, a good way to let them know they're on your mind is to send a cute SMS message during the day. This is particularly helpful if both of you work; there's usually no time during the workday to have an in-depth conversation. What's more, if you see someone regularly, there's often not much to say in the middle of the day either.
So a cute SMS is a good way to remind someone that they're on your mind and that you haven't forgotten about them, even if you're not talking to them at the moment.

1
Don't think too hard about your SMS. The more you think about it, the more forced and less natural it will seem.
-
2
Keep it short and simple. You're not writing a long novel about what you've been up to today. You can tell your significant other more detail later. So a quick, cute SMS doesn't necessarily have to have a lot of substance.

3
Personalize it. Mention something specific about their day. Rather than "hope work's going well," you could write "i hope the lab is treating you well" (if the recipient works in a lab).
-
4
Make them laugh. People respond better to things that stimulate their emotions, and laughter is one of the easier emotions to stimulate through a text.
-
5
Include a humorous quote or joke. Examples can be found in the Resources section below, but keep your ears peeled throughout the day in case someone tells you a joke that your texting partner may enjoy.
-
6
Send a picture. Most phones have cameras, and a picture of yourself makes for a very cute text. You could even combine a picture with the above steps by writing a cute note on a piece of paper, taking a picture of yourself holding it, then sending the whole thing to your partner.
