How to Disassemble a Dodge Caravan Stereo
The Dodge Caravan is an affordable and popular family minivan that is American-designed. The Dodge Caravan is manufactured with its stereo assembled in the center console, which will need to be removed when it is broken or to replace it with a new one. Removing the Caravan's stereo can be done without going to a Dodge dealership or auto shop. Disassembling and removing your Caravan's stereo is fairly easy to do if you follow the right steps.

Open the hood of your Dodge Caravan and disconnect the negative battery cable from the battery with a wrench.

Open the Caravan's cup holder and pull and unclip the cup holder's trim above it.

Remove both Phillips head screws above the cup holder with a screwdriver turned counterclockwise.

Pull and unclip the Caravan's dash trim panel around the stereo with a trim panel removal tool.

Remove all four Phillips head screws around the Caravan's stereo with the screwdriver turned counterclockwise.

Disconnect the antenna and wiring from the back of the stereo then slide out the unit from your Caravan.
