Repairing lock sets involves tightening screws, lubricating moving parts and replacing latches or screws. Loosen the screws in the latch and knobs and remove them.

Remove the knobs and latch.

Replace the latch with the new one and screw in new latch screws.

Apply spray lubricant to all parts inside the knobs, and wipe the excess lubricant away with a rag.

Replace the knobs and screws.

Tips & Warnings
Check the function of the lock after the repair. If it sticks, loosen the screws and realign the knob.
