How to Shoot the Beretta 92Fs
The Beretta 92FS is a pistol used as the standard American military sidearm. Known as an M-9 in the military, it fires 9 mm bullets. It is widely used by military and police forces around the world, including those of France, Brazil, Italy and the United Kingdom. Some of these guns are manufactured by Beretta in the United States, while others are licensed copies.The 92FS is not an ideal target-shooters weapon. It has quite a small sight, and is fairly large and heavy. That said, it is very reliable. Shooting one is simple.

Fill the Berreta's magazine with 15 rounds of 9mm ammunition by pressing them down into the magazine from the top.

Check that the gun's safety is on. The safety is a metal switch on the left side of the gun, just above and behind the trigger. If it is on, the bar of the switch should be pointing downward, with no visible red dot.

Slide the magazine into the handle of the gun until you hear a "click." This indicates that it is locked in place.

Pull backwards on the gun's slider. This is the metal piece that makes up the top of the weapon. Pulling back on it will bring a round into the chamber.

Aim at the target by looking down the top of the pistol and pointing the sights at the end of the barrel at the center of the target. Keep the front sight visible within the back sight to ensure an accurate aim.

Grip the pistol hard with your shooting hand, placing your index finger over the trigger. Take a shooting stance, which is similar to a boxing stance. Your body should be turned at a 45 degree angle away from the target, with the foot underneath your trigger hand back and the other foot forward.

Bring your other hand up to the gun and switch the safety off by flipping the switch upward so that the red dot shows. Wrap your second hand around your trigger hand for extra stability, and sight the target again.

Smoothly squeeze the trigger to fire a round. Thinking about the firing motion as "squeezing" or "rolling" will give you a smoother motion than thinking of it as "pulling" on the trigger. A smooth motion will give you a better chance of hitting your target.

Tips & Warnings
Firearms are dangerous. Never point a gun towards anyone, even if it isn't loaded. Once you've chambered a round, point it only at the target. Never buy or fire a handgun without the appropriate licenses and approvals for your jurisdiction, and never treat your Beretta as a toy.
To protect your eyes and ears, wear goggles and ear protection whenever firing your gun.
