How to Tow a Kia

If you need to tow your Kia, you may opt to use a tow dolly. A tow dolly is designed to attach a car to a towing vehicle to tow it across long distances, and it is designed to ensure only the back wheels are on the road. If you must tow your Kia, you must take all precautions to ensure it is attached properly so that you do not experience any mishaps during the tow.

Instructions

1. Lower the tow vehicle's locking lever as far as it will go. Insert the pin to secure its position. Move the coupler so that it rests over the round mount on the back bumper.

2. Raise the locking lever up to its original position. Insert the pin to secure its position.

3. Position the dolly's electrical plug into your electrical box, which is behind your truck.

4. Attach the Kia to the truck with the chains under the bumper, taking care to crisscross the chains. For example, the right chain should attach to the left side and vice versa.
