Instructions

    • 1

Grab the underside of the brake pedal arm firmly. With your other hand, insert a flat-head screwdriver into the slit between the stop rubber and the brake pedal. Bend the rubber towards you with the help of the screwdriver.

    • 2

Peel the rubber off the brake pedal to expose the metal plate, bolts and rivets.

    • 3

Use the electric drill and suitable bits to unscrew the pedal bolts. Loosen the rivets with a wrench in order to remove the pedal from the brake pedal arm.

    • 4

Place your replacement brake pedal over the brake platform on the brake pedal arm. Carefully align the bolt positions and bolt guides.

    • 5

Adjust the bolt and rivet angle to the sweep of the brake platform to keep the drill holes straight.

    • 6

Screw the replacement brake pedal onto the brake platform with the bolts using the electric drill and appropriate bits. Use wrench to tighten the rivets to the bolts.

    • 7

Peel off the backing paper on the back of the new stop rubber to expose the adhesive film. Press and rub the stop rubber with the adhesive side down on the replacement brake pedal.

    • 8

Pump your brake pedal several times with your foot and without the engine running. Make sure that the brake pedal is secure and the stop rubber does not shift before you drive.
