How to Get a SIM Card KI Number
Subscriber Identity Module (SIM) cards are removable memory cards that store a key (KI) number that identifies the subscriber on a network. Although this information is hard-coded to devices on some networks, the use of a removable card allows the subscriber to transfer service to another active device instantly, by placing his SIM card into another phone or device. You can retrieve the KI number for your SIM card from the printed label.
