You do not need extensive Microsoft Eord skills to create a decorative business letterhead. With a few quick steps you can create a letterhead template in less than five minutes that you can continue to use for thousands of letters in the future.

      Open a blank Word document and click the "Insert" tab.

      Click "Header" from the options bar at the top of the screen. Select "Blank center" from the pop-up list. This will open the header edit option, allowing you to customize it how you prefer. Click the "Home" tab at the top of the window and click the "Center text" option.

      Click the "Insert" tab at the top of the page and select to insert an image "From file." Select your business logo from the image list and click "OK." Press "Enter.

      Type your company name, address, telephone number, email address, or any data you want to be included with every page. Press "Enter" between each line to create space.

      Click "Esc" when you are finished inputting all of your company info.

Tips & Warnings

  • Microsoft Word 2007 includes several header templates that can be selected by clicking "Insert," choosing "Header" and selecting a template from the drop-down list.

  • You can save a template for future use.
