How to Reuse Car Tires
When tires are no longer safe to be used on vehicles, they can be reused in various ways. Because old tires can take up space or even create a breeding ground for mosquitoes, some areas have resources to recycle old tires. There are creative ways to use your old tires instead of having them lying around. Use these creative techniques to make the best of your used tires.

Reuse car tires to make swings for your children. Wash the tires with soap, water and bleach. Let them dry thoroughly, then locate a strong tree branch. Securely tie the rope to the tree branch. Fold the rope in half and put the folded half over the top of the tree branch. Put the ends through the folded part of the rope. Firmly pull the rope, then tie the ends securely to tire.

Place the car tire on a flat surface in your yard. Fill the center of the tire with soil. Add 2 to 3 inches of compost and combine it with the soil. Plant tomato seedlings in the soil. Add another tire on top of the first tire with the seedling, as soon as the tomato plant grows above the surface.

Create a backyard pool to entertain small kids. Place a shower curtain in the center of a clean tire and drape it over the edges. Fill the used tire with water to make a small pool.

Reuse car tires to secure garbage cans. Place a tire on the a flat surface. Place the garbage can in the center of the tire to keep it from tipping over.

When reusing tires, you can paint the outside of them to change their appearances.
