Tips & Warnings
If you are replacing a broken pump, clean and descale the fountain while it is turned off. It will look as good as new when the new pump is installed.
Buy the correct size of tubing. If the tubing is slightly too small, hold the end in boiling water for a few seconds to expand it. Attach it to the pump or fountain and let it cool in place. It will shrink to a water-tight seal.
Do not buy a pump that is too strong for a tabletop fountain. If the water is pumped too forcefully it will spray out of the fountain.
