Reinstall your remote's firmware to restore its factory settings.

The Logitech Harmony 1000 Advanced Universal Remote lets you control various parts of your home entertainment system from one remote. It includes options for playing video games, listening to the radio, viewing pictures and recording video. If you have problems with your device, you may need to reset it to its factory settings. Erase all settings and data on your Harmony 1000 by reinstalling the firmware.

Instructions

      Open the Harmony remote software and sign in to your account. Connect the remote's USB cable to the top of the remote and to an available USB port on your computer.

      Click "Downloads" at the top right on the remote software and select "Firmware." Follow the onscreen instructions to reinstall the firmware to the remote.

      Click "Update Remote" when the firmware installation completes.
