How to Diagnose Connection Problems in a Browser Extension

If you know that your Internet is working properly, but the browser isn't connecting properly, you may have to tackle the troubleshooting of your browser. There are several things that you can do to cure your connection problems. You don't have to take your computer to a programmer to get the browser problems fixed. These problems are usually fixed by clearing the browser history or restarting your computer.

Instructions

1. Make sure that your computer is not in the "Working Offline" mode. This will be displayed on your browser window when you open it. If you see this prompt, turn it off in the window.

2. Empty the cache on the browser. The cache is the memory on the Internet browser window. Go to the "Internet Options" menu to delete the cache.

3. Restore your browser to the default settings. You can do this through the "Help" section on your browser.

4. Update your browser through the "Windows Update" icon in your "All Programs" menu.

5. Restart your computer.
