How to Set the Home Address in a Garmin Nuvi 350

The Garmin nuvi 350 GPS unit provides turn-by-turn directions using voice prompts with actual street names, an upcoming turn list and a highlighted map route. If you get off track, the 350 will automatically route you back toward your destination. The nuvi uses a touch screen with soft keys for all controls except the external power button. You can route to a point of interest, an address, a set of coordinates or a location on the map. You can set up a home address to allow quick routing home.

Instructions

1. Tap "Where To?" on the main menu page. The icon pictures a magnifying glass.

2. Tap "My Location." The icon is a heart.

3. Tap "Set Home." A screen will pop up with options for setting your home address. Select whether you want to type in the address on the pop-up keyboard or use your current location.

4. Route home by tapping "Where To?," "My Locations" and "Go Home."

Tips & Warnings

• You can change your home address anytime by repeating the procedure.
