How to Receive SMS on VoIP
Receiving SMS messages on your VoIP phone line may be just as costly as a traditional cell phone, depending on your provider. Not all VoIP services offer the SMS feature to their customers, so check with the VoIP company before signing up for their monthly fee. Using SMS messaging on a VoIP phone system is as simple as a traditional cell phone, and requires no special additional equipment or services as long as your VoIP company provides SMS messaging as a feature.
