How to Use Goo Gone Products

Goo Gone is a line of products created to easily remove a variety of sticky and unpleasant stains, such as the glue that remains when stickers are peeled off. Goo Gone is easy to use, and the results can be attained in a few simple steps, but the instructions vary a bit from item to item.

Instructions

  1. Stain on Carpet

    • 1

      Pour Goo Gone onto a clean, dry rag.

      Scrub the stain vigorously for at least one minute.

      Wash the area with water and soap, rinse, and allow it to dry.

      Repeat if the stain remains.

    Stain on Clothing

      Apply Goo Gone to each area of the stain on clothing.

      Scrub the affected area, and allow Goo Gone to sit on the stain for two to three minutes.

      Scrape the "goo" off the clothing.

    • 8

      Wash the clothes in your washing machine on their usual cycle.
