Unscrew the screws in the hinge one by on with an electric drill with a driver bit. As you unscrew a screw, replace it with a 1 1/2-inch wood screw. The longer screw will anchor the hinge deeper into the wood and provide a more secure base. It is a good idea to replace all the screws in all the hinges with the longer screws while you have the door off its hinges.
