One series is known as the StreetPilot series, and it offers GPS navigation systems such as the Garmin StreetPilot c340 for use inside motor vehicles. This particular device can be used on city streets and highways, and it will give you step-by-step instructions from one place to the next. If your Garmin StreetPilot c340 is not functioning as it should, then you may need to troubleshoot the device.

Instructions

1. Take your Garmin StreetPilot c340 outside to an area that is unobstructed by trees and tall buildings. This will help get a satellite signal faster. If that doesn't work, move the device about a block away. Some areas just have poor satellite reception in general.

2. Clean the area of your windshield where you mount the Garmin StreetPilot c340 and dry it thoroughly. This will allow the suction cup to be mounted more securely inside your vehicle.

3. Turn your Garmin StreetPilot c340 off if your screen freezes or if the device is not responding when you touch the screen. Wait a few seconds and then turn it back on again.
