Instructions

    • 1

Shake out the rug vigorously to remove any surface dirt or other substances.

    • 2

Lay the rug on an outdoor paved area.

    • 3

Mix two cupfuls of ordinary detergent into a bucket full of water.

    • 4

Dip a clean sponge into the detergent mixture and gently rub it onto any stains or discolorations.

    • 5

Spill out the mixture, rinse out the bucket and fill it with plain water. Use a fresh sponge (or rinse the old one) dipped in the water to wash off the soap.

    • 6

Lay dry towels on the rug and roll them up together. The towels will soak up any excess water.

    • 7

Lay the rug flat on the pavement to dry.
