Tips & Warnings
If baby spits out liquid, try mixing it with formula or breast milk and administer it in a bottle.
Gripe water can also be given through a pacifier designed to dispense medication.
You might wish to wait 30 minutes after feeding to give gripe water so as not to make the baby overly full, causing him or her to spit up both the gripe water and recent feeding.
After each dose, clean dropper, syringe or pacifier and allow to air dry; this will help avoid contamination.
Communicate with your pediatrician about any changes in your baby's behavior.
