Tips & Warnings
Legal calls are not charged against the inmates' allotted phone calls.
Sacramento County Jail staff screens all calls, which cost about $5 each, as of November 2010. Inmates will not have privacy to discuss personal matters, as all calls are made from the day room. Many inmates wait to use the phones, so calling out may be difficult. Inmates can lose phone privileges due to disciplinary restrictions.
