1
Wrap a piece of craft or florist wire loosely around the neck of your votive tea light holder to get the measurement for this part of the wire hanger. Add around an inch to this measurement and cut the wire at this point using sharp scissors.
-
2
Wrap the section of wire around the neck of the votive tea light holder until the two ends meet. Secure these ends by twisting them together and folding the twist flat. Pliers can be used to pinch the twist flat to the wire which encircles the neck of the votive for a neat finish.

3
Measure another section of wire which is approximately 10-inches long. Measure it with a ruler and cut it using sharp scissors or wire snips. This will make the loop or handle for the hanger.
-
4
Attach one end of the handle to the wire around the neck of the votive tea light holder. Insert the end of the handle underneath the wire already in place and twist it around the wire to secure.
-
5
Attach the other end of the wire handle directly opposite to where the first part of the handle is attached for a balanced hanging votive holder. Repeat the handle attaching process to do this.
-
6
Crimp each end of the twisted handle wire in place using pliers for a neat and secure finish.
