Instructions

    • 1

Hang the grow lamp in the center of the room where the light can most efficiently reach all of the room. The wattage of the bulb that you use depends on what you are attempting to grow. Tomatoes, for example, require 40 watts per square foot, whereas herbs only require approximately 25 watts per square foot.

    • 2

Line the walls of the room with the heavy plastic sheeting. Staple them in place with the industrial stapler.

    • 3

Install the fan and the carbon filter in any of the corners of the room. Ideally you should purchase a fan combined with a carbon filter. The fan should be placed so that when oscillating, it sends air across the room as efficiently and evenly as possible. Make sure to wire the fan and carbon filter correctly as per the instructions that come with it.

Set up your climate control system according to the manufacturer's instructions. Climate control allows you to control both the temperature as well as the level of humidity in your hydroponic room.
