How to Stuff Graduation Announcements
The time for momentous celebration has arrived. Preparing for graduation can be a hectic experience. Avoid wasting time by making sure you know how to stuff you graduation announcements. Announcements have to be sent to out to share the news of your accomplishment. There a few ways of preparing them that will make your job easier.

- Blue or black ink pen
- Announcements
- Inner envelope
- Outer envelope
- Tissue paper insert
- Postage

Use a blue or black ink pen to write addresses on your outer (larger) envelopes. This envelope is considered the mailing envelope. Make sure you use formal names, such as Mrs., Ms. an Mr. Avoid using abbreviations. Spell out names of roads and streets.

Put the return address in the upper lefthand corner of the outer envelope. To make this process a little easier you can use return address labels. They are quick and also maintain the formal look to your graduation announcements. You can exclude your name from the return address.

Address the inner envelope informally. Use names such as Grandmother or Uncle. You can use nicknames as well. The inner envelope which is smaller than the outer envelope holds the actual announcement. Addressing the inner envelope allows you to put a personal touch to your announcements.

Place tissue paper around each announcement. Put the announcement in the inner envelope. Folded edge should be inserted first. Make sure the text is facing the flap. Leave the envelope unsealed. Insert the inner envelope into the outer envelope, facing the flap toward the mailing address. Seal the outer envelope. Place postage on each envelope. Mail your announcements.

Tips & Warnings
Mail your announcements two weeks prior to your graduation. Announcements are not graduation invitations. The are only to share the news of your graduation. You can write on the bottom of the announcement "No Gift." This way people do not feel pressured to buy gifts. However, remember gifts can help you with living expenses after graduation.
