How to Clean Aluminum Awnings

Aluminum awnings are a way to protect a porch or windows from receiving an abundance of sun. The awnings are on the outside of your home, so they can collect dirt and other debris that occasionally needs to be cleaned off. Since they are made of aluminum, you don't want to use harsh cleaners or brushes that might scratch the surface and cause rust to develop. Does this Spark an idea?
