Instructions

    • 1

Grasp the fresh floral corsage by its base. The base can be the ribboned backside for pinning or the wristlet part.

    • 2

Dangle the flower end of the corsage into an opened, paper grocery sack. Scrunch the opening of the paper bag gently around the base of the corsage and wrap the rubber band around it to keep it in place. This keeps the blossoms of the fresh corsage from touching the bottom of the bag.

    • 3

Place the bag in a dry, cool place, such as a pantry or on a kitchen counter. Let it sit for two weeks. This gives it time to completely dry without falling apart.

    • 4

Remove the corsage from the bag carefully and sit it in front of you. Hold the can of hairspray about 4 inches from the surface of the corsage and release a fine mist of the product over the petals. This keeps the petals of the flowers from falling from the corsage and further preserves them.

    • 5

Place the sprayed, preserved corsage into the clear acrylic box of the right size. These boxes are easy to obtain from craft and hobby supply stores and can be purchased in a wide variety of sizes. They are useful displays for a lot of different items.
