How to Update Mobile Status
Facebook and Twitter have popularized the term "update your status." Your "status" message is a limited-line of text that lets your friends and followers know what you are up to, thinking or eating for breakfast. These social networking sites offer mobile SMS updating, allowing for status updates on the go. Updating your status with your mobile phone is simply a matter of texting the proper short code, but first you must register your cell phone number with the service.
