How to Choose a Job Offer
Receiving multiple job offers is a job seeker's dream. However, choosing the right opportunity can prove challenging and you'll have to carefully weigh the pros and cons of each job offer to determine the right match. Once offering you a job, employers may want an immediate answer or an answer within a couple of days. Thus you have to act fast and decide on the best opportunity.

1
Reflect on advancement opportunities with the companies. Review your professional goals and consider whether you see yourself growing with a particular company. If necessary, ask additional questions once you've been offered the positions, such as does the corporation offer workshops and training or educational programs? Is there room for growth within the corporation?

2
Review the benefits package. Do a side-by-side comparison of the benefits offered by each job. Do they offer vacation and sick leave? If so, how much per year? Do they offer a retirement plan, health insurance, college or child-care reimbursement? Make a notation of the job with the best benefits.

3
Consider whether you're a good match for the company. Reassess the work environment of each job. For example, some companies are fast-paced and high pressure, whereas others are laid-back. Some companies require business suit attire, whereas others allow business casual dress (slacks and polo shirts).

4
Assess whether you can live on the salary. Talk with each potential employer and inquire about salaries. Review your living expenses to see if you can make a living on the salary.
-
5
Evaluate the commute time. A job offer with a higher salary may have a longer commute, whereas a job minutes from your house may pay less. Consider how long it'll take you to drive to and from work each day. Will you need to rely on public transportation? How much will you likely spend on fuel? Will traffic be an issue?
