How to Unlock the Navman Platinum

The Navman Platinum S-Series is a tiny GPS unit that you can take anywhere. It includes an MP3 player and 3D downloadable maps. If you received your Navman Platinum GPS unit through the mail, it may have a lock on it. This lock prevents unauthorized use of the unit. To unlock the Navman Platinum, you need a PIN. You can also unlock the GPS unit if you do not have a PIN.

Instructions

1. Press the power button and hold it. Wait at least 30 seconds for your Navman Platinum to load fully.

2. Tap "UNLOCK" on the screen if you do not have a PIN. If you do, use the touch-screen keypad to enter the numbers and to tap "UNLOCK."

3. Wait for your Navman Platinum to display the menu. Tap any of the icons on the menu to use your device.
