How to Save Tins
Tins are easy to collect, especially around the holidays. Figuring out what to do with the tins can be a challenge. Whether it is a cookie tin, a tin that housed hot chocolate or a simple tin a gift came disguised in, save the tins by putting them to good use. Transfer your spices into small tins for easy access and storage. The spices you use most can be stacked in tins for easy access on your counter.

Store dry food items, such as cereal, flour, sugar, cookies and crackers in the tins. This will make for a festive display and will keep you from having to deal with bulky boxes and messy bags.

Place Christmas ornaments and decorations in tins for basement or attic storage. This will keep decorations organized and protected throughout the other seasons.
