How to Locate Inmates in DuPage County, Illinois Jail

DuPage County is located just outside of Chicago, Illinois. The DuPage County Jail holds inmates who are temporarily incarcerated, those awaiting trial in the county, or those who are serving a term of up to one year. The state of Illinois is required to provide inmate information to the public, and there are several ways to locate an inmate who is currently serving time in the DuPage County Jail.

      Go to a website that provides comprehensive national inmate information, such as VINELink. Click on the state of Illinois on the U.S. map. Hit "Illinois Statewide." Click "Offenders" or "Offenders with Court Cases." Select "Choose Facility." Using the drop-down menu, choose "DuPage County Jail." Choose a search method. You can use the inmate's Offender ID number, his first and last name, or date of birth. Hit "Search."

      Go to the State of Illinois Department of Corrections homepage. Click "Inmate Search." In the search field, type the inmate's name, his Illinois Department of Corrections number or his date of birth. Hit "Inmate Search."

      Call the DuPage County Jail directly at 630-407-2255. Provide any information you have pertaining to the offender. You will be given booking and inmate information.
