How to Fold a Bandana Like a Gangsta
The gangsta-style bandana is a variation on the conventional headband bandana, with the biggest difference being that the tie or knot is worn in the front and not the back. You can fold your own gansta-style bandana using any ordinary bandana.
Instructions
-
-
1
Place the bandana flat in front of you so that it makes a square.
-
2
Fold the top right corner diagonally onto the bottom left corner, so that the bandana now appears as a triangle.
-
-
3
Rotate the bandana so that the apex, or top, of the triangle is closest to you and the base part of the triangle that is the crease of the bandana is at the top opposite of you.
-
4
Fold the top inch of the bandana along the base towards you, so that the top inch lays up and above the rest of the bandana. Continue folding the bandana in this fashion until you have a thin strip of bandana.
-
5
Place the middle of the bandana behind your head, pulling the ends in a straight line to your forehead. Secure the ends in the front by either pulling them tightly in opposite directions with one end wrapped under the other or tying them in a knot.

Tips & Warnings
To make the headband thicker, increase the width of the fold over. To make it slimmer, decrease the width.
For a variation, either tuck the crossed ends of the bandana in the opposite sides of the front, or move the knot to a side of the forehead.
