How to Find Anyone's Birthday & Birthplace
There are may reasons why you may need to find someone's birth record. You may have lost your own and need a copy or maybe you are trying to locate a person or his relatives. Some individuals need access to birth records in order to perform background checks or for historical reasons. Most states consider birth records to be public information and will release the data to anyone. Often, you will not have to leave your home and can do your research through the many resources available online.

Gather as much information as you can on the individual, based on what you already know. It helps to know a person's full name and approximate age to help get your search started.

Begin to search through online databases such as the Archives website, Birth Database or Any Birthday and write down as much information as you can on the person. Online resources will often list relatives, as well, and this can be a tremendous help in your search.

Take your search to your local library or courthouse and sift through stored records if you do not have success online or access to the Internet. Both places have many resources available, such as archived newspapers, marriage records and death certificates.

Talk to as many people as you can that may be able to assist with your search. Local historians, physicians and hospitals may also be able to help and often have information available regarding other ways to locate someone's birthday and place of birth.

Continue to find and talk to as many people as you can that may know or have known the person in question and keep detailed and accurate notes. It is not extremely difficult to find someone's birth date and place -- it just takes persistence and good note-taking skills.
