How to Lose Beer Belly Fat
It's no surprise that after a few too many beers you can suffer from the dreaded beer belly. However, it's not just beer that can cause this problem; a general increase of calories that collects as fat around the stomach can cause beer belly too. To get rid of the excess weight, you must focus on changing your diet and exercising.

Diet
-
1
Cut down on beer. Not only will it reduce the number of calories you take in, it also will reduce your appetite and stop you from over-eating. Too much beer can lead to diabetes, high blood pressure and sleep apnea so it's not just the beer belly you're reducing.
-
2
Eat five meals a day. Have a big, protein-filled breakfast that can include scrambled eggs, a protein drink or muesli, to give you an energy boost to start the day. Then have four smaller meals throughout the day, which will help you not to snack.
-
-
3
Increase your intake of raw food. It's rich in fiber and has little saturated fat, which will speed your metabolism.
-
4
Drink more water. A glass of water in place of your usual cups of tea and coffee will cut down your calories and help purify your body.
Exercise
-
5
Exercise three to four times a week. You need to reduce the fat around your stomach before you can tone it. The only way is to lose more calories than you take in.
-
6
Make cardiovascular the focus of your workout. Build up your stamina with gradual cardiovascular gym work, and intersperse weight training throughout. Once you have lost weight around your belly, start working in occasional reps of sit-ups to strengthen the transversus abdominis muscle (TVA), which will tone and flatten your stomach.
-
7
Alternate your sporting activities. Get out of the gym and try swimming, tennis, basketball and other sports that raise your heart rate.
