How to Add a Network Printer on Windows XP
A network printer is a printer that is not locally connected to a computer, but is instead located on the local network. With this type of setup, multiple computers on a local network can access and print from a networked printer without having to deal with printer sharing or other types of issues common in locally shared printers. If you want to print from a network printer, you have to add it to your computer.
