ADP offers online payroll training to its clients.

Automatic Data Processing Inc. (ADP) offers various payroll solutions to companies that will suit their specific payroll requirements. ADP provides its payroll software clients various training options based on their preferences and needs. Clients can learn how to use the software, brush up on their skills or optimize the use of the payroll system. Training can be in the form of on-site or off-site classroom sessions in ADP offices worldwide, online tutorials or virtual classes.

      Go online to the ADP training page (see Resources) and click on the size of your company. Scroll down to "Learn@ADP". Click "Log in."

      Type your user name and password. If you are a new user, click the link beside "I need a user name and password." Enter your company and personal information requested.

      Review the training options available for your ADP payroll software. Read the course descriptions, length of training, fees and prerequisites, if any. Check venues and schedules of classroom sessions.

      Register for your selected course, venue and date. Provide all required information.

      Contact your ADP support associate for more information or if the course you want is not currently offered.

      Upon completion of training, log in to "Learn@ADP" again. You can check other training courses you may need and track your learning progress.

Tips & Warnings

  • Training registration requires the code/unique ID that ADP provided to your company.

  • E-learning and virtual classes provide the convenience of learning without leaving your office. They also allow you to learn at your own pace.

  • You may need to refresh your skills or retrain when software upgrades are implemented.

  • Only ADP clients can access ADP training. If you are not a client, another learning option is to train under a payroll administrator who uses the ADP payroll system.
