How to Install a Jet Dock
Universal boat and jet docks are complicated to assemble, so you should always understand and comply with the user's manual guide to assemble them. The demand for Jet Ski docks gave way to the invention of this berth. Made of hard flexible material, jet docks are lightweight and mobile. Installing this dock takes time and patience, but the comfort it would provide can be worth the effort.
Instructions

1
Place the dry dock assembly on a flat, dry ground surface. The docks have three separate parts; the stern, the middle and the bow. Reference points of the dock are the port and the starboard side. Arrange all the necessary tools for the project.
-
2
Remove the connecting pins and fasteners that are attached to the docks for shipping purposes. Connect the middle section to the bow section in the port side. Ask your assistant to help you lift the dock. Secure the fasteners onto the side slots and tighten them with the ratchet driver.
-
-
3
Place yourself in the bow, starboard corner and lift the middle section toward the bow section. Secure the fasteners into the slots as instructed by your consumer guide manual. Make sure to insert spacers for missing tabs within the connecting slots. Spacer tabs come along with your assembly kit.
-
4
Insert one handle of the assembly key into the second pin opening from the port side to give way for the medallion or connecting pin to be inserted. Lock the connecting pin using the assembly key by rotating it 1/8th of a turn. The two indicating holes should be aligned with the horizontal "cross" section. Connect all pins using the same technique.
-
5
Locate the three remaining tab locks, secure them with fasteners and tighten. Proceed to secure all remaining metal or screw connections.
-
6
Lift the stern section and place it atop the middle section. Secure both ends of the interior bunks to the stern section using the screws provided by, and as indicated by, your user manual kit. Put the stern section to the ground and "fit" it to the middle section of the dock. Complete the attachment of the inner bunks by securing the other ends of the angled bars to the slots of the middle section.
-
7
Put the winch assist launch system. Attach the looped end of the bungee cord to the indicated shaft of the starboard connecting pin. Put the pin in the slot and lock with the assembly key.
-
8
Remove the indicated connecting pin and install the deck pulley to the starboard section of the dock. Place the knotted end of the cord down to the fore cabs under dock four. Replace the indicated connecting pin and lock with the assembly key.
-
9
Pass the loose end of the bungee cord through the deck pulley and then through the winch hook of the winch assist launch system. Hold the other end of the line and proceed to the port side and pull the line tight for the steel ring to be near the deck pulley.
-
10
Step on the taught bungee line to maintain tension; remove the port connecting pin opposite the deck pulley. Tie a knot on the red assist winch bungee cord. Pass the knot and the remaining line down to the fore cabs to secure the knot beneath tab four. Replace the connecting pin and lock it with the assembly key.
-
11
Put two safety lines to the two corners of the dock and tie the other ends of the line to a solid heavy object within the area. These lines will help the dock stay in place when in the water. Launch the jet dock into the water.
-
12
Install the buoyancy beams under the dock assembly. Attach the buoyancy beams' mounting hardware on the corners of the buoyancy beams themselves as provided and indicated by your user manual kit. Attach a line into the beam. Remove all the nuts and washers of the mounting hardware. Put them safely where you could reach them as you will be using all these nuts and washers again.
-
13
Launch the beam into the water and temporarily tie it into the dock to keep it in place. The beams have holes on their sides so that they can be filled with water and become heavy enough to be guided under the dock for mounting.
-
14
Submerge the beam under the water with the "patterned" side facing upward and the holes facing stern-ward. Slide it horizontally across the dock under the stern. Ask your assistant to catch the beam from across the side of the dock. Secure the beams underneath as how it is directed by your user manual. Rotate the beams around so that the "patterned" side is facing stern-ward and the holes facing the sea floor. Lock the beams into the locks using the washers and nuts you kept earlier. Install all available beams in this similar fashion.

Tips & Warnings
It is not advisable to add buoyancy beams weighing more than your jet ski's specified weight. Consult an installation expert whenever you install a dock or refer carefully to the user's manual on the particulars of this complicated project.
Do not assemble the dock near an open flame. Plastic and rubber are highly combustible. When launching the dock into the water, make sure there is no metal piping or sharp rocks that protrude into the docking area.
