Directions for "Monopoly Here & Now"
"Monopoly Here & Now" from 2008 is an updated version of the classic board game. For the most part, it plays like the original with just a few minor changes. The goal is still to make the most money and bankrupt all of the other players.

1
Give each player $15 million in bills instead of $1,500. Each player gets two $5 million bills, two $1 million bills, two $500 thousand bills, six $200 thousand bills, five $100 thousand bills, five $50 thousand bills, and five $10 thousand bills.
-
2
Place a token on "Go." Roll dice to select who goes first. The person with the highest roll goes first. In the case of ties, the players that are tied re-roll until one player has a higher total. Play goes clockwise.
-
-
3
Roll two dice and move that many spaces on your turn.
-
4
Land on a space with a property and buy it for the listed price if no one else owns it. Choose not to purchase the property and that space goes up for auction. An auction can start at any price. The player with the highest bid wins the property and receives its title deed card from the bank.
-
5
Land on a property that someone else owns and pay the owner the rent listed on the deed card. Rent is double if a player owns a Monopoly, which occurs when someone owns all the deed cards for a certain color group.
-
6
Land on a Community Chest or Chance and draw a card from the respective pile and do as it says. If you land on any other space that is not a property or Community Chest or Chance, you must do whatever that space says to do.
-
7
Pass "Go" and collect $2 million from the bank.
-
8
Roll doubles and go again. Roll doubles three times and go directly to jail. You don't pass "Go" or collect $2 million. Roll doubles or pay $500,000 to escape jail.

Tips & Warnings
Mortgage your property to the bank for half the cost you paid for it. Sell the buildings back to the bank for half of what you paid before putting it up for mortgage.
You can't collect rent when a building is mortgaged. To get a property out of mortgage pay the mortgage value plus 10 percent.
Trade with other players at any point in the game. You may try trading for "Get out of Jail Free" cards or other properties. Properties that have buildings on them can't be traded unless that player sells them back to the bank.
