How to Recover Deleted Folders

Recover deleted folders from the Windows Recycle Bin.

When you delete a file or folder in Windows 7, Windows does not automatically delete it permanently. Instead, it temporarily keeps your deleted files in a location called the Recycle Bin until you empty its contents. If you accidentally delete a file or folder, you can use the Recycle Bin to recover it.

Instructions

1. Double-click the "Recycle Bin" icon on the Windows desktop.

2. Click the folder that you need to recover.

3. Click "Restore this item" to restore the folder to its original location.
