How to Add Cleaning Solution to Braun 8895 Electric Razor
The Braun 8895 is a self-cleaning electric razor that automatically analyzes and cleans the razor when you place it in the included Clean & Renew base. This ensures that you get the best shave possible each time you use the razor. The 8895 contains a special cleaning solution in the base that you must periodically replace. Place the Clean & Renew station on a counter and connect the electrical cord to the socket on the station. Plug the electrical cord into an available outlet in the bathroom.

Press the "Station Lift" button the top of the back side of the station to open the housing at the bottom of the Clean & Renew station.

Grasp the sides of the cleaning cartridge in the housing below the station and pull it directly out. Do not tilt the cartridge as it contains old cleaning solution.

Pull the rubber cap off the top of the new cleaning cartridge and place on top of the old cleaning cartridge. Discard the old cleaning cartridge.

Slide the new cleaning cartridge in the housing below the Clean & Renew station.

Press down on the Clean & Renew station to close the housing.

Push the head of the razor into the top of the station. A light will appear on the side of the station, indicating the cleaning cycle that the razor needs.

Press the "Start Cleaning" button to clean the razor with the new cleaning solution. A blue light will appear on the station when the system finishes the cleaning cycle. Monitor the cartridge light for when to replace the cleaning solution again.
