How to Find a Census Tract

Overpopulated cities and suburbs are usually uncontrollable, which makes a Census tract an ideal option when it comes to getting opinions from one million or more residents. The Census tract started in 1910 in eight cities (Baltimore, Boston, Chicago, Cleveland, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, St. Louis and New York) to help the government organize the 500,000 residents who took the Census questionnaire. Acting as a sort of ZIP code, the Census tract helps tabulate the statistics from the Census questionnaire from each city or district.
