Instructions

    • 1

Measure the depth of the bathroom counter and the width of the basin. There needs to be 1 to 2 inches of clearance from the edge of the basin to the edge of the counter.

    • 2

Place the template that comes with the sink on top of the counter and use a pencil to trace the cut marks onto the countertop.

    • 3

Use a jigsaw to cut the opening for the sink in the countertop. Take care to stay on the inside edge of the line so that the hole isn't cut too large.

    • 4

Use a damp paper towel to wipe away the dust from the cutting.

    • 5

Place the sink inside the cut hole to check the fit. Use sandpaper to smooth away any tight spots.

    • 6

Turn the sink upside down on a towel and place a bead of plumber's putty along the edge of basin.

    • 7

Turn the sink over and place it in the hole. Press down firmly on the edges of the sink to secure the plumber's putty to the countertop.

    • 8

Place a bead of silicone around the edge of the sink to seal it to the counter.
